Pick up the Dried Grass using a Baler, to create either round bales or square bales or Hay.(optional) Run a Windrower over the Dried Grass to arrange it into a single trail, making it easier for pickup.Note: Although the description for tedders states that they "decrease" the drying times of cut grass, grass will not dry of its own accord. This will instantly turn it into Dried Grass. This will leave one or more trails of Grass behind the mower, depending on the specific equipment used. You must follow the process below in order to create, dry, and collect Grass to make Hay: it can be a tough game to learn how to play properly but youll get the hang of it!! good luck and have fun.Hay is simply cut and dried grass, which has been picked up as Bales. plus i live on a farm so its easier to me to figure out. Ive put about 91 hours on this game, 106 hours on FS-2013, and 21 hours on FS-11 and im still finding little tricks and new things every now and then. let us know if you have any more questions. you can sell all bales in either the bale barn or in the bio digester at the bga. if im not running cows i will just pick up the straw and turn it into silage becaus silage makes more money than straw bales. same for the "straw" left after harvesting wheat. Also you can mow and windrow grass and use the pickup head on the harvester to pick it up and throw it in the trailer. its shoots far enough to reach the second one and then you can unhook and pull it to the bunker with a faster machine. If im playing alone i use 2 of the small agroliner trailers coupled together and attached to the harvester. But remember you HAVE to have trailer within the pipe distance to harvest this. Or you can take the corn head for the silage harvester and do corn. You can also take a forage harvester (like the krone big x 1100) with the cutter head and chop wheat, grass, barley, and canola for "chaff" (silage).
